The suit is paid for but the car isn’t.

The suit is paid for but the car isn’t. Well, paid for is the haircut and the lightbar in the rear window also. The point is that trying to look nice is one thing, but paying for it is what the world doesn’t see. No one goes around holding up their bills and saying how successful they are -they quietly pay them at home and hope that next month they’ll have enough to pay them again. I personally know that feeling, and that’s a normal thing for a small business owner. The future is never really known until you get to it. It’s best to start now to save up and prepare for the future instead of letting it “sneak up on you.” By the way, it’s impossible for tomorrow to sneak up on you because you know it’s coming.

Today is the day to start preparing for the next step you might have to take. Sometimes we continue to pay for things that happened yesterday. For example, I have a car note because of a decision I made in the past. I don’t regret the decision (because… I mean, have you seen this thing??), but in the future I would prefer to pay in full for things to ensure I don’t regret them later. Now there are some exceptions to that rule, but that’s not my point. Cars should be a buy-it-outright thing in my future. There’s not reason I couldn’t just save up any longer for my next one -or better yet, continue to maintain the one I have.I love those Recaros…
