At The End of The Day: My Rules for Life

1] God wins.
At the end of the day, even the bad things will have good outcomes somehow. At the end of the day, God has more control than me.

2] Ignore people who hurt you.
When someone begins to hurt you, give them a few or more chances -sure, but when they don’t reform, ignore them and live life.

3] Never work for anyone else.
Instead, work with others. There’s a difference. “For” = no control,  while “With” = mutual control.

4] Trust gut instincts.
If it feels wrong, don’t do it.

5] Do the right thing.
Doing the right thing usually means never having to lie or present falsehoods.

6] Money doesn’t matter.
How much something costs should not matter, as long as it is in reason.

7] When life sucks, take the rest of the day off.
Chugging through a day all half-assed is kinda sucky.

8] Treat emergencies like emergencies and non-emergencies like non-emergencies.
Don’t throw water on something that’s not burning.

9] Avoid telling people about successes and failures unless you really really want to.
When you’re successful, they’ll bring you down. When you’re trying to be sad, they’ll probably try to cheer you up.

10] Enjoy life.
Life was intended to be enjoyed. Just lay back.
